I've just got back home after the best weekend with 3 of my beautiful bridesmaids! We spent it in Birmingham and on the Saturday went to the NEC for The National Wedding Show. I loved every minute of it, and gathered so much inspiration. I even managed to try on my first ever wedding dress which has got me beyond excited for wedding dress shopping at the end of this month. Here are a few things images of things that inspired me throughout the day.

That's right, my boyfriend of 3 years proposed to me at the end of July and is now my fiance! I was blown away by his proposal, considering he tells me he isn't creative he did a pretty good job! I've been so caught up in the excitement of it all that I have completely abandoned my blog. But after a short break I am back and since I and a team of my wonderful creative friends are going to try and make as many of the decorations etc as possible, I'm sure a lot of my posts shall involve DIY wedding projects as well as inspiration for what will be one of the biggest days of our live!

I own a Diana Mini and I absolutely love it! It's taking me a while to properly get used to how to use it (even though I've owned it for 3 years!). I only recently started using it again and above are some photos from the film I got developed last week. A lot of the photos didn't come out and I accidently opened the back of the camera before winding the film back (whoops!) but I love the light leaks in these photos so kinda glad that happened! Definitely need to get into the habit of using it more and am gonna take it with me on holiday in two weeks so I can take lots of photos then! Ciao for now.

Today I decided to mess around with Photoshop and create some 'double exposure' images. For this one I chose a photo of my sister and one of flowers taken the other week and merged them together.

A few piccies from an afternoon exploring Clifton Village.

My wonderful Mum came to visit last weekend and we had such a lovely time! On the Sunday we spent the morning at the University of Bristol Botanical Gardens taking photos and drawing. Despite the fact the sun only made a brief appearance towards the end of the trip we still had a great time and I'm really pleased with how some of my photos came out! Above are my favourites from the day.

“In most gardens,” the Tiger-lily said, “they make the beds too soft–so that the flowers are always asleep.” ~ Tiger-lily, Alice in Wonderland.

Anyone who knows me are well aware of the fact that I LOVE bunnies. I don't mean just an 'aw they're cute' kinda love. I mean I am literally obsessed. I currently live in a rented house which does not allow pets (this makes me very sad), but I cannot wait until the day I own my own house so I can adopt two house bunnies I can love and mother to my hearts content!

Anyway! I have just stumbled across the most adorable advert that made me squeal with delight. So much cuteness, I can't handle it. Hope you appreciate it as much as I do!

Today I made a bible verse into prints to put in frames for the house I'm moving into in July. I think they'd look really cute in simple white frames, so I'm going to buy some in the next few weeks. For those who may be wondering, the pretty font I used is Arsenale White and you can download it free here http://www.dafont.com/arsenale-white.font. I'm so excited to have a new house to decorate with pretty things, my housemate Ally and I have already been discussing ideas. I shall be posting photos of these once we have moved in so make sure to come back and have a nosey!

A few instagrams of flowers in my Grandma's old flower presses. She gave me them after clearing out her loft and I only got round to looking through them a few weeks ago. I really want to put some in frames cos they're lush! It has also inspired me to try a bit of flower pressing myself, as there are still lots of blank pages in the presses that I think I should make use of!
